COTROCENI PALACE
(Presidential Palace)
Cotroceni Palace
Constructed in the 19th century for Queen Marie (1891-93) at the wish of King Ferdinand. It was designed by the French court architect Paul Gottereau and developed by the Romanian architect Grigore Cerchez.
Today a part of the palace is the residence of the Romanian president while the former wing of the palace is housing the Cotroceni Palace Museum.
